​​Micro-Needling
Micro-needling, also know as Collagen Induction Therapy, is great for treating scars, reducing fine lines, wrinkles and cellulite, reducing pore size and hyper-pigmentation.  It stimulates collagen and elastin production, increases cell turnover improving skin tone, texture and firmness. It is also a proven treatment for hair loss.

How Does it Work?
We use a professional micro-needling device that makes tiny micro wounds in the skin, this stimulates collagen and elastin production and increases cell turnover. The  device has small needles moving at high speed to pierce the skin at depths of 0.5mm to 2.5mm. By stimulating the skin dermis in this way it increases the absorption of skin care products up to 3,000%.  We use a unique collection of herbal serums such as apple stem cells during the treatment to give greater results.  All products we use on the skin are natural and vegan.

Does it Hurt?
There is some minimal discomfort. There are parts of the face that are more uncomfortable to needle than others, such as the forehead .  We use a numbing cream applied before treatment to make is as painless as possible.  The needling device we use has multiple depth settings which can be adjusted for client comfort.   ​

How Many Sessions Will I Need?
Everyone has different needs and response to treatment.  For most skin conditions it is recommended to have a course of 4 sessions to see the greatest improvement.  

How Much Down Time Is There?
There is minimal down time with micro-needling.  You should keep out of the sun for at least 24 hours and your skin may feel sunburnt and appear red for 8-12 hours.  Best results are seen about 2-3 weeks post treatment.  The therapy continues to work for a number of months as the skin regenerates.​
What to Expect
You should come for treatment with clean skin and no make-up. Your treatment begins with the application of a numbing cream.  You then spend a relaxing 20 minutes laying on our infrared chakra bio-mat with red/blue or yellow light therapy over your face. We then cleanse your skin in preparation for micro-needling.  During your treatment we use a combination of preparations to enhance the outcome.  Apple stem cells from Switzerland in a base of hyaluronic acid is one of the key serums we use.  We may use other preparations containing  herbal extracts depending on your skin condition. After the treatment we apply a soothing face mask to calm and heal.

Hair Loss Treatment
We  treat hair loss with a combination of proven methods.  Micro-needling is an effective treatment for hair loss.  We use red light therapy along with the micro-needling to increase results.  Hair growth products can be applied topically, remember micro-needling improves the absorption of your product by up to 3000%.  We have our own topical herbal tincture we use, or you can apply your own.

We can treat the scalp during your facial micro-needling  session.  If you are coming solely for hair loss, we have special programs designed just for hair loss.  Hair loss can be due to a number of factors including hereditary, stress, hormones, certain drugs or illnesses.
